Own briefs from Foundation
Going through old sketchbooks from Foundation meant that the different briefs given could be collected together.
- Given a random word and letter. We then had to make the letter look like the word
- Given an action which we then had to create 100 marks to represent it using only one colour but any material
- Took 50 photographs using a restriction, line, colour, shape, ratio, scale ,simplicity, viewpoint, pattern, lighting, tone, contrast, volume, balance, focus, quantity
- Photograph an area of ground then create a line drawing
- Make lines based on sense words experienced in an area using limited materials
- Choose a verb and do it to a material
- Create 10 different sheets of paper focusing on texture
- Make variations of one of the sheets of paper
- Had to think of a story that had happened and create a sequence of images to describe it
- Use a shape to create outcomes e.g. type , pattern, object
- Use a quote to create outcomes e.g. object, traditional photograph
- Use a word to create outcomes e.g. 3D type, sequential comic, photograph, drawing
