Studio Brief 3 - Other elements for the identity

Social Media

The design for our flyer would have an interactive element that would link to the social media for the event. It would allow visitors to take pictures of their favourite places within Leeds, through the cubes, with the photographs then being uploaded to Instagram and Twitter using the appropriate hashtag. This aimed to encourage engagement with the event in a simple way, whilst increasing exposure on social media.





For the lead up to the event there would be a countdown with the number of days left to the event being posted across social media. The numbers would be made from the cubes with different events from the festival being shown within the numbers which is also seen in other brand elements such as the posters and catalogue print.






The Gif plays with the three blocks as a consistent format for the animation. Using all of the different cubes showed the whole brand identity in clips and this was then brought together at the end to form the exhibition branding. Showing all of the clips initially creates visual interest before leading to the final design. The images from the events used within the blocks are shown in full colour because this makes the most of the images on screen, creating a vibrant design.
