OUGD603 - Brief 7 - Crit on Wildlife Habitat

Crit on Wildlife Habitat

- the lasercut wood designs are more visually different to things seen before whereas perhaps the colour pattern designs look familar, however they are strong
- the stripped back approach to the lasercut shapes is different to other things and looks refined and contemporary
- using the lasercut design on the wood potentially has less impact on the wildlife. Although waterbased, the paint potentially is still not great for the birds if ingested. Paint may flake off and degrade over time, whereas the lasercut designs will be more durable
- using the wood will allow the box to fit into the environment because the material itself is natural
