Type considerations for Background Sets
- Key elements from places that the artwork / objects come from e.g. fireplaces, picture frames etc could be used for the backgrounds as a way of setting the scene for each place within the animation.
- making the designs for these elements simple will allow the design to look contemporary and more refined whilst also allowing the Illustrations, which would be placed over the photographs to stand out and be the main focus of the design.
- potentially the line could adapt to elements within the background image, with the line following the shape or making the shape of an element e.g. stairs
- this could be a good way of creating the idea of the line going on a journey through the different spaces
- Using a thinner line within the design looks more refined
- The type could also adapt to the line so that it flows along this creating the idea that it is moving along the line
- Potentially the backgrounds of the images could be coloured to reflect the colour scheme used by Art Fund and to make it a little more playful and bright
