Time Idea
- Images of the different museums, historic houses and galleries could be Illustrated then fit within the shape of a clock
- Through the animation the time could progress around the clock face showing more of the images
- When the clock time increases the image could change to a different place showing the range of museums and galleries
- using common Art Fund colours for the rest of the clock could work well in contrasting against the imagery and would allow the design to be bright and playful
- Alternatively it was considered that the clock could be layered over imagery and as the clock increases the image behind could change
- Representing the time through negative space within the clock would create geometric shapes which would create a playful and contemporary aesthetic to the design
Perspective Idea
- Different types of perspective lines could be used within the animation to create a changing layout within the animation
- within the brief it suggests that museums, galleries and historic houses allow you to get a new perspective on things
- this idea of perspective could be represented using different perspective lines within a shape
- the lines could then shift and change within the spaces to create different arrangements
- images could be placed within the different segments created by the lines within the shape
- changing the imagery when the lines change could be a good way of showing the variety of places you can visit with the Student Art Pass
- Rather than having different places in each segment, multiple perspectives of the same space / place could be used in the segments creating the sense that you are looking at the place from different angles and perspectives and seeing different things in each photograph.
