Meanings of words Mindmap


To further explore some of the words associated with the original game of Dominoes, word meanings of that word and associated words were looked at. This allowed for concepts to around each of the words to be considered more thoroughly.






Woodpile

- a stack of wood stored for fuel

Wood

- an area of land, smaller than a forest, that is covered with growing trees  
- the hard fibrous material that forms the main substance of the trunk or branches of a treeor shrub, used for fuel or timber.

- Trees - could be built 
- Actions - stack , chop etc 

Other thoughts 
- could be stacked and layered in a similar way to Upwords the game 


Tile 

- a thin square slab of glazed pottery or other material, for covering floors, walls, or other surfaces
- a thin rectangular slab of baked clay or other material, used in overlapping rows for covering roofs 
- cover with tiles 


Stones 

- remove the stone from a fruit 
- hard, solid non metaliic mineral matter of which rock is made, especially a building material

Hub 

- around a central point
