It was suggested that all three of the designs were strong however it was said that perhaps the pencil with the seed growing from it was the design that would work best at smaller sizes. The Earth design it was said perhaps too much going on within it to work at smaller sizes and may look too clunky when set with text whereas the pencil design with the seed is much simpler. The use of the pencil within two of the designs made the link between creativity and sustainability well making them more reflective of the university and its aims for sustainability.
