Collaboration Meet Up
Points discussed:
- It was said that the fruit bag idea would work best with multiple fruit rather than just watermelon as these are not normally packaged in netted bags, whereas some of the other fruits were.
- We narrowed down the fruits that we had looked at before to just Watermelon, Kiwi and Oranges as these were all quite distinct from one another. Apple had been considered however the pieces would need up to six pips in a segment which wouldn't look right for an apple as there are not many seeds within this int he first place.
- We considered how the piece could be screen printed with two colours on top of coloured perspex to create playful and vibrant designs.
- We decided to use colour swatches from images of the different fruits as a colour scheme for the different pieces / illustrations etc. Refining this down to three colours could also be a possibility.
