OUGD503 - Studio Brief 2 - Hasbro Board Game (Large Collaborative) - Game Instructions

Pipped Instructions 

Pipped!  2 – 4 players

The tiles
Each piece is divided into two
The pips on each half of a piece represent numbers

Set Up
Place all fruit face down in centre
Draw 5 tiles each
Stand them up so only you can see them
Player with the highest scoring pips on their tile starts

Game Play
Take it in turns matching pips on pieces to the ends of tiles played by opponents
Draw from the centre if you cannot play and use this within the turn, if not keep the tile.

Blocking
If a tile turns in on itself, play stops and this end is blocked
Continue matching tiles on the other end of the chain

pipped! tiles
A blocked end can be opened again with a pipped! tile
pipped! tiles are exchanged for the blocked end tile
Any tile can be matched to a pipped! tile to continue play
Pipped tiles must be used if a player cannot match any other tiles to opponent’s pieces

Finishing a round
The round finishes when someone uses all their pieces
Or if everyone passes within a round, the player with the smallest combined amount of pips on their tiles wins the round
 
Scoring
The winning player scores the combined amount of pips left on their opponent’s tiles
Keep note of the points scored during the round
Continue playing rounds until someone reaches 100 points

Bonus
Complete a fruit and score 50 bonus points, plus points for the round
