Working out the pip combinations on the different fruit
The game would be using three types of fruit and be based on a double six set of dominoes. With this in mind all of the different dominoes within a set of classic set of dominoes were split into three groups. It was found that one of the fruit was going to have 10 pieces whilst the others were going to have 9 because there were only 28 pieces within a set which didn't split evenly between three designs. A tile pipped! tile would also be added to each of these groups.
When the tiles were split into initial groups the combinations were then documented to show what was on the left and the right of the domino, as well as how many of each number were within a fruit group and overall how many of each number were on which side in the whole set.
Documenting the combinations in this way meant that an even distribution of numbers could be created within all three fruits and that there was a equal amount of the same numbers on both sides which would allow an equal chance of matching any number together.
