Clock photography with a limitation
These 50 images all use the restriction of having a circular
element directly in the centre of the frame. The images were created using a
macro lens which meant close up images of the components could be captured.
Full frame pictures of elements were the most effective as compositions as these
were the most obscure and abstract. Other pictures were created using a white
background because the camera was unable to zoom in anymore. These have a
different visual appearance to them when compared with the full frame pictures
however interesting details were still captured. The symbols, textures and
workings of the clocks were the most visually exciting to look at, as these are
often hidden within the inside of the clock.
