The identity is easily transferable to a rage of environments, allowing it to become part of its surroundings, making it ideal for use in a changing and varied landscape. The strokes in the letters create the basis for the shape of the line in ‘The Line’. It has a clean and clear appearance making it modern and contemporary, whilst also reflecting a primitive style which is created through the basic mark making used in the ‘line’. The identity has different colour schemes and patterns making it adaptable to reflect the changing landscape along the walk. The design has a focus on being representational of the external landscape as well as the internal experience of the landscape. The patterns combine both fluid elements, lines and textures. Fluid elements evoke a sense of organic natural forms whilst also representing a path ahead. The geometric lines and gritty textures create the impression of an urban environment. The combination of both these elements shows the contrasting environments that the different works reside in.
