OUGD504 - Guidebook Research - Research Presentation

Wildlife Gardening Presentation Feedback

It was suggested that the content for the book should be kept quite brief for each of the activities to make it a guide that can be used easily within the garden. This would make it a handbook that was easy to use for a variety of people making wildlife gardening feel more accessible to a wider audience.

It was also said that perhaps it could be designed as a series of books or publications of which only one is produced to focus the content more. This could be a good way of perhaps providing a more comprehensive explanation of each activity. The series of guides could perhaps be broken down into themes e.g. habitats, food, planting etc.

It was said to the group that it was important to really refine the target audience and the tone of voice e.g. whether it would be funny, educational etc.
