OUGD504 - Guidebook Research - Primary Images

Images

Images were collected from a range of gardens to show a breadth of activities in a range of contexts. Visiting large established gardens such as RHS Harlow Carr and Alnwich Gardens provided a variety of different habitats and gardening techniques in a traditional, formal garden setting.

Bolton Abbey was more of a wild setting allowing images of natural habitats to be collected, which shows the environments that can be mimicked within the gardens.

Visiting a range of private gardens meant that images could be taken of the activities within a garden setting and how different people have included them within their own space.
