Final Crit
- it was said the designs used the brand guidelines well in terms of tone of voice, aesthetic and brand elements
- it was clear the design was for students as the information was quick and to the point, whilst things were represented visually making it instantly understandable
- the use of the blue line throughout the design ties the elements within the animation together
- the music was considered to be relaxing which was the aim
- there were varied thoughts on whether the transitions between the different clocks in the animation were ever so slightly fast between some.
- It was suggested that perhaps a screen before the start of the animation could tell people to get comfortable or take a minute out and stay to watch the rest of the animation so that they know its going to be a longer piece as often digital elements are quite fast. Alternatively it was suggested that the beginning screen could just be left on for longer to get people ready for the rest of the animation
- overall the pace of the whole animation was considered to be relaxing
- the designs purpose was clear
- consider the context in which these things would be seen e.g. busy places
- the contrast works well between the background imagery and the Illustrations
- highlight the process of making the designs in the design boards as time was taken to make the designs making the process fit with the whole of the design
