Reclaimed Materials Concept 

It was suggested that it would be useful to understand whether the concept was going to be a social enterprise or a commercial site. 

It was said that in a social enterprise there is more of a focus on creating a sense of community between people and in this instance could involve sharing and trading materials rather than buying and selling them. It was considered how people could search locally for things they needed by searching in a specific radius. It would aim to promote the reuse of materials / upcycling.

It was also asked, what happens wen there is no monetary need? So instead of exchanging money, tokens or something similar could be used which would be useless anywhere else.

Suggested things to look at:

To Good to Go which is an app that allows food places to sell left over meals at the end of the day. The user pays as little as £2 for a full meal and the app aims to lower food wastage.

Freecycle is a website that allows people to give and find things for free in the local community.
